A typical day in our third and fourth grade classroom begins with the class secretaries taking care of attendance and lunch orders. After we finish that business, we review the schedule of the day, choose our daily greeting and action, and have a short general discussion about events, concerns or news from individual students.

Everyday we have a Writing Workshop, a Math time, a Reading Workshop and Quiet Work Times (QWT). Our Quiet Work Time includes Science Labs, Social Studies projects, Spelling, Math Labs and Individual Project Work Time. Chorus meets on Thursday and Instrumental Music Lessons are on Mondays and Tuesdays. Band meets on Monday afternoon.
