The Club is designed to honor students on their birthday, or half-birthday (for summer birthdays), or other special events. In the Media Center a pre-selected group of new books are available for the Birthday Book Club. Prices range from $10 and up. A bookplate with the studentŐs picture, name and birthday will be placed in the book and the donation will be announced on his or her special day. The birthday celebrant will be the first to check out the book; it may be taken home and read by your family and then returned for everyone to enjoy. The book club is also available as a way for students to donate a book for ANY special occasion such as holiday teacher gifts, special events, or any occasion. The special recognitions will be handled in the same manner as a student birthday. |
