WISE – What is my grade based on?

*WISE is graded on Pass/Fail.*

• Journal – Must have a minimum of two weekly entries, research and an annotated bibliography.  See Journal Evaluation Rubric for more details.

• Mentor Evaluation – You MUST set up weekly meetings with your mentor.  IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.  Your mentor will not chase you down.  At each meeting your mentor must fill out the Weekly Mentor Student Record.  You must then put it in your journal.  See Weekly Mentor Student Record, Interim Report and Final Student Evaluation report for more details.

• WISE presentation –  See Presentation Evaluation Rubric.  We will go into more detail at the Presentation workshop.

• ATTENDANCE – all WISE meetings are MANDATORY.  If you have to miss a meeting you must notify Mrs. Melillo or Mrs. Wenzel in advance.  It is your responsibility to see us to find out what you missed.

**You will be evaluated in January by Mrs. Melillo and Mrs. Wenzel on your progress in completing the requirements listed above.  At that time you will be given a mid-project grade of pass or fail to help assess your progress.**

IF THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT MET

YOU WILL NOT PASS WISE.
