This is a very exciting time at Coginchaug. On April 30th the Site Plan Committee had a very successful meeting and the final plan will be completed in the next few weeks. Thank you to all the committee members - parents, staff, students, and community volunteers - who have worked so diligently over the past year to renew our Site Plan.

On May 3rd and 10th almost 100 students and staff have volunteered to work on the CRHS AmeriCares HomeFront project at Camp Farnum. It will be two full days of clean up duty! This is a new venture for us and it gives our students another opportunity to reach out to the community.

As you know, spring schedules are extremely busy with last quarter academics before final exams, music, sports, clubs, and class activities.  Students enrolled in AP courses and taking the Concentrator Exam are preparing for those exams scheduled between May 5 and May 13.

If you are able to get down to the fields and catch a baseball or softball game, tennis match, or track meet, you can check out the schedule listed under Our School, Athletics by clicking on the CIAC web site. Between the music, club, class, and sports events I'm sure I will get to see many of you at some point during this busy and productive final quarter at Coginchaug.
