Let's Dance

The annual Dance Festival will be held on June 4th under the direction of Tiger Robison, music teacher. The morning begins with a presenation for the first and second grade students by Ginga Brasileira who will perform Dances of Brazil. The kindergarten and preschool students will arrive at noon. The school wide festivities begin at 12:00 noon with a school wide picnic lunch. We will have special guests who will be grilling hotdogs for the picnic. After lunch the students will head outside and the dancing will begin at 1:40. Please check the map to see where your child will be performing prior to putting your chair or blanket on the front lawn. Please make sure you place your things behind the marked area so that the students can sit in their designated location. We hope to see you there!

Field Day

Watch for your notice regarding field day. The date has been changed to June 24th. A special lunch will be offered on that day. You must sign up for lunch in advance.

When I Grow Up.....

On May 14th, the second graders all took part in a performance called "When I Grow Up..." All students took part in the presentation. The students dressed up in outfits relating to the profession that they would like to be. Students shared with the audience why they wanted to be doctors, surgeons, chefs, bakers, professional athletes, daycare providers, veterinarians, etc. Each classroom then performed a song about careers. Great job second graders!
