What's Happening at Brewster

Governors Reading Challenge

You can help your child be successful next year by having him/her continue to read and write over the summer. Your child brought home the Covernor's Summer Reading Challenge book log on the last day of school. Please keep track of how many books your child reads so that Brewster can add our total to the state number. Every child that returns their book log during the first week of school will receive a special award. Have a great summer and keep reading.

 The Brewster Playground

It's a GO! The delivery date will be July 23,24,25.

The BKPTA is looking for volunteers to help with construction on those three days and for heavy construction to be completed in the two weeks previous to prepare the site for the new playground.

We are also now looking for connections within the community for the donation of rock and piping to beused to install a drainage system under our new playground. If you know of any leads in this area, please let us know.

Volunteers are still needed to help. Volunteers are also needed for food donations. If you are able to help in any way or can donate a baked good or beverages, please contact Karen Bates at 860-349-3075 or Kathy DeBrum at 860-349-4300. Beverages that do not require immediate refrigeration may be dropped of atBrewster school during regular school hours up until July 23rd.

Thank you for all your support. This project could not be done without your help.
