Letter sent home 9/14/2011-9/19/2011(no credentials)

NOTICE: 9/28/2011 - The credentials for Korn School students that were on the letter home are incorrect. This will cause your account creation to fail if you try to add the student. Please contact rfielding@rsd13.org to have your account created or to provide you with the correct credentials.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. Are the Access ID and Access Password case sensitive?
A. Yes, in most cases both of these will be all capital letters and numbers.

Q. When will I receive the letter with information?
A. A bulk mailing was sent out on Thursday, September 15th for students grades 7-12. These could take a day or two to come in. K-6 students will have received the letter in school on Friday, September 16th or Monday, September 19th. A mailing to second parents will go out on Monday, September 19th.

Q. Will students be given access to the Portal?
A. Yes, eventually students in grades 7-12 will be given their own username and password to access their information. The time frame will be determined by the schools' administration.

Portal Issues:

RESOLVED: 1/25/2012 - The Firefox web browser correctly reported an SSL error when connecting to PowerSchool. SSL certificate was fixed.

NOTICE: 12/30/2011 - Significant Upgrades were performed on the PowerSchool Server. This resulted in some changes in the look of the Portal, but all features should still be available.

RESOLVED: 9/19/2011 - An error in the email function of the PowerSchool Portal had been detected. This was preventing the password reset and username reminder functions from working as well as scheduled email notifications.
